In response to the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, Maryland State Superintendent Dr. Karen Salmon directed that all Maryland schools close through May 15, 2020. Accordingly, all HCPSS schools, office buildings and all surrounding outdoor spaces are closed during that time. However, the school system is not shut down and continues to operate remotely.

During this time, school administrators and central office staff will be working remotely. Voicemail will be checked daily; however, email is recommended for the quickest response. For school-related questions, please email the school principal. For all other questions, locate and contact the appropriate department at Central Office.
