Our PBIS team plays an important role at HES as we support our Caring School Community! PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, and our team is responsible for working with students and staff to help acknowledge all the responsible choices our students display – with Tuffy Tickets! – and also to support those students who are struggling with their behavior management. Our emphasis is always on highlighting the positive actions of our students and trying to prevent negative choices through teaching and re-teaching our Respectful, Responsible and Ready to Learn expectations. We will be sharing our program highlights here in the “Corner” throughout the year.
