We welcome parents and family members to visit Hammond ES! Due to space limitations and maintaining school security, we ask that you follow these guidelines:

• Visitors are welcome all day.  Due to available space and parking, we encourage you to limit your visit to an hour.  Ask your child about what part of the day they would like you to visit.
• Only adults are able to visit.  Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate younger siblings and non-school aged children.
• Sign in at the front office with Lobby Guard. You must bring a driver’s license to sign in. Wear your sticker in a visible location at all times.
• If you are joining your child for lunch, there may not be space for all parents to sit especially in grades with larger numbers of students. Please ensure that all students have a place to sit to eat.
• As per HCPSS guidelines, parents are not permitted at recess at any time. 

Although parents are welcome all week long, we are offering recommended days for grade levels in order to minimize crowding and parking issues: 

• Monday- 4th & 5th grade visitors encouraged
• Tuesday- Kindergarten visitors encouraged
• Wednesday-1st grade visitors encouraged                                          Master Class Schedule
• Thursday-2nd grade visitors encouraged
• Friday-3rd grade visitors encouraged

Parking Reminders:

• No cars can be parked in the bus loop area.
• Do not park in the fire lane, in handicapped spaces (without permit), or in reserved spaces.
